I have been trying to write this recap for like three days. This is a big week for us. Monday is Rami’s birthday, Friday is Independence Day, and Wednesday is our wedding MONTHIVERSARY!!  Still, it will be for the most part meals as usual, plus some birthday cake for dessert. Friday Favorites

Rami and I have been nesting like crazy, so this is a home-inspired edition of Friday favorites.  Some of my current obsessions include: Glass Canisters I’m so over Ziploc bags and grubby paper bags of sugar in my pantry. We got our first local box from Greenling yesterday! It was just as promised, and everything arrived cool and fresh.  We were thrilled with the portions– just right for two nearly vegetarians to eat for a week. And Greenling included a handy dandy storage guide, some recipes, and a bumper sticker with our order! Everything went according to plan! Except. Instead of a bell pepper and squash, we got 1.5 cups of these mystery beans: Are they pinto beans, black eyed peas, navy beans, black beans or white beans.? No!
